About Hope Rocks

Your support of Hope Rocks allows Faith’s Lodge to continue to help families retreat, reflect and renew during the darkest hours of their lives — those spent mourning the loss of a child or caring for a child with a medically-complex condition. Faith’s Lodge offers a safe haven where families are connected with those who truly understand and gives them the opportunity to create lasting friendships, support networks and memories as grieving turns into healing.

    Valet parking. Cost: $10 ($22 for overnight parking)

Be a Volunteer at Hope Rocks!

 

  • Registration & Check-Out (3:45pm - 11:00pm)

    Volunteers will check-in guests and assist with check out at the end of the night. Registration training begins at 4:00pm. Registration is open from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Checkout is open from 9:00pm – 11:00pm. Registration & Check-out volunteers will have some downtime between Registration & Check Out. 

  • Greeters/BidPal/Auction Spotters (4:00pm - 9:30pm)

    Volunteers will greet guests upon arrival, direct guests where to go, answer any questions they have in regards to using the BidPal software on their cell phones. During the program,you will assist in spotting live auction bidders and Fund-a-Family donors. 

  • Tribute Rose/T-shirt Sales (4:15pm - 11:00pm)

    Volunteers will sell tribute roses to guests as they arrive and sell t-shirts to guests as they depart. Tributes will be sold from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. T-shirts will be sold from 9:00pm – 11:00pm. Tribute and T-shirt Volunteers will have some downtime between shifts. 

  • Wine & Whiskey Wall (4:15pm - 11:00pm)

    Guests are able to buy in at a flat rate price for the chance to win a high priced bottle of wine or whiskey. Volunteers will check to make sure guests have paid via BidPal, and then have the guest pull a number. The volunteer will then assign that bottle of wine or whiskey to the guest so they can pick it up at checkout when they leave. Shift will start at 5:00pm and go until all bottles are claimed. 

  • How to sign up

    If you are interested in volunteering for Hope Rocks, please email sambates@faithslodg.org with the following information:

    • First & last name
    • Shirt size (we will have ladies & men’s sizes – please be specific)
    • Preferred volunteer task
    • Who you would like to volunteer with 
    • Any comments or questions

    Note: We will have food available for volunteers as they arrive for their shift. We will have late night snacks as well.

  • Volunteer Orientation (Required)

    Please be prepared to attend a volunteer orientation session the evening of Thursday, September 15th at Radisson Blu Mall of America.

    Once we have all our committed volunteers, an email with detailed information will be sent regarding orientation time, event attire, parking, etc.
