FAITH’S LODGE ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGES

New Board Chair and Executive Director to build on charity’s meaningful legacy

MINNEAPOLIS – Dec. 1, 2012 – Faith’s Lodge, a respite for those who have recently lost a child or have a child with a serious illness, made two major changes to the leadership of the organization. Founders Mark and Susan Lacek announced Jadin Bragg, an active board member since 2007, as the new Board Chair, and Kelly McDyre as the new Executive Director.

Bragg and McDyre are dedicated to taking Faith’s Lodge to another level. This includes raising regional awareness of the organization and embarking on a long-term capital campaign.

Bragg, a CPA and partner at Boulay, Heutmaker, Zibell & Co., assumes the Board Chair position from Mark Lacek and is scheduled to serve a term of three years.

“Jadin’s depth serving business clients with strategic business advice is important in leading Faith’s Lodge in the next phase of our development,” said Mark Lacek, who will now serve as vice-chair. “His commitment and passion through his years of service as a board member made him a clear choice to lead the organization. Faith’s Lodge remains close to our hearts; it was important to find the right person to own the leadership role.”

McDyre comes to Faith’s Lodge from a marketing and communications background and previously served as the Executive Director of the Harmon Killebrew Foundation.

“Kelly brings a wealth of non-profit experience, a meaningful connection to the organization and just the right balance of corporate experience,” said Bragg. “We feel fortunate to have her talents as we bring Faith’s Lodge into the future.”

Both Bragg and McDyre are graduates of the University of St. Thomas and will operate out of the Minneapolis area.
